
Public Cruises & Charters
Connecticut River Museum offers several options to take a cruise and explore the Connecticut River. Choose the adventure that’s right for you! Become a Member here and receive 10% off any regularly scheduled Daytime or Sunset Cruise. (Does not include special cruises or events). All boat trips include same-day admission to the museum. Museum hours are 10:00am – 5:00pm, Tuesday through Sunday.
Onrust
Take an afternoon or evening cruise on the Onrust! Plan extra time before or after your on-water expedition to tour the galleries or visit the Museum Shop. Same-day admission to the Museum is included with your cruise ticket! Onrust is available for private charters. Paddle Program
Connecticut River Museum’s Paddle Explorations Program is open for guided tours through mid-October. All you have to do is call to reserve your tour! Rent a canoe, kayak, or paddleboard and get out on the River! Paddlers are provided with a boat, paddles, and Personal Flotation Device. This program is by reservation only.
RiverQuest
Travel aboard the RiverQuest, a 64’ eco-tour boat, on the scenic lower Connecticut River, an area labeled by The Nature Conservancy as “One of the Last Great Places in the Northern Hemisphere”.
Guests experience the River’s ecology, rich history, and wildlife; including osprey, eagles and more. Enjoy each season’s beauty as we cruise Spring through Fall.
