Boat Accessibility Information

Please be aware of the following:

Passengers boarding Onrust must be able to independently navigate ramps and stairs. Wheelchairs and other mobility devices cannot be accommodated.

Passengers boarding RiverQuest may use wheelchairs or walkers, however, passengers using these mobility devices must be accompanied by someone who is capable of safely controlling the wheelchair or walker on Museum ramps.  Motorized wheelchairs are too heavy for safe boarding and are not permitted.

The Connecticut River is tidal which means that ramps and stairs can be steep. Booking RiverQuest tours at high tide ensures a less steep ramp. The Museum reserves the right to refuse access and provide a full refund to anyone who cannot safely board.
