The Connecticut River Museum, with its landmark buildings and dramatic 1.5 acre campus overlooking Essex Harbor and the Connecticut River is the perfect location for your reception, corporate meeting, shower, or memorial service. The Museum is located in Essex Village, a quintessential New England seaport. The Museum offers several spaces available for corporate and private functions.

 

 

 

Museum Boathouse and North Deck

The Boathouse is a program and exhibition space in the Museum’s main building. It opens directly onto the North Deck, right on the water. These spaces are available for functions as well. The Boathouse occupancy limit is 55 for a cocktail party format.

Samuel Lay House

The Lay House, site of the original Dauntless Yacht Club in 1907, is often used for intimate celebrations or corporate luncheons and meetings.

The Lay House Lawn hosts larger tented events and offers a beautiful vista of the river.  Occupancy limit for this building is 40.
