PARENT/GUARDIAN MUST BE PRESENT

Bring your friends and family down to our lawn on Wednesday, June 24, from 1:00-2:00 pm for Children’s Oar Decorating event. We will hang their decorated oars in the lobby of the museum in celebration of the history of paddling on the Connecticut River.

Grab a blanket, grab your oar, and get creative! All supplies are courtesy of the museum. Social distancing recommendations will be in place, and we ask all visitors to wear a mask or face covering for this fun activity.

The Connecticut River is a place to dream – of exploration, of escape, and of adventure. Journey through time in our new exhibit, River of Dreams, and learn the stories of people who paddled the Great River for recreation, for fellowship, and for self-discovery. Come join the adventure!

Questions? Email Allison Insall, Director of Education at ainsall@ctrivermuseum.org

Pre-registration is required, and space is limited to the first 15 to sign up, so sign up now. We are full! Watch for more crafts!
