We’re excited to share that the Connecticut River Museum’s Block Party is back for its third year on September 19, 2026, and we would love to have you involved as part of this growing community tradition.

Last year, more than 500 guests gathered along the waterfront, and this year we hope to welcome even more neighbors, families, visitors, and local businesses for a free day dedicated to community connection. The Block Party brings together residents from all three Essex villages and beyond for live music, food trucks, dockside boat tours, family-friendly games, lectures, and free admission to all Museum exhibits. It’s a day designed to make the River accessible, engaging, and welcoming to everyone while showcasing the organizations and businesses that help our community thrive.
