Join us for a very special River Tales with Captain Chip to read The Seagull and the Sea Captain, written by Sy Montgomery. In a quiet harbor in New England, a sea captain named Ellis is visited by a seagull who lands on the back of his family’s passenger schooner one afternoon. Their friendship lasted the summer, and now, four years later, the wild seagull still visits.

A program just for kids 4+ and their caregivers, River Tales includes a story, a craft activity, and an opportunity to get out on the dock and try to spot gulls that call the Connecticut River home!

All River Tales reservations include Museum admission for one adult and one child and must be purchased in advance. Children MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian during this event.
