The Connecticut River: Past, Present, and Future – Virtual Lecture
Presented by: Jennifer L. Carlson, Executive Director, The Connecticut River Museum

BOOK HERE!

Carlson hopes to foster future generations interest in the River by showing the importance of the past generations’ influence on the River.

Rivers, including the Connecticut are under great pressure. Acquire insight into the reasons for the changes that have occurred over time in the river valleys/watersheds; gain historical perspective on those changes through a variety of activities; gain appreciation for the community decisions that created these changes; and understand that changes will occur in the future.

Prior to the Connecticut River Museum, Jennifer was the Executive Director of the Wyck Association, an historic house, collection, and gardens in Philadelphia. She has worked for twenty years in the cultural sector of Philadelphia: as Program Director at Historic Philadelphia, Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications a Temple University’s Boyer College of Music and Dance, and Assistant Dean at La Salle University’s School of Arts and Sciences.
