While you’re enjoying the Essex Scarecrow Contest & FestiFALL, swing by the Connecticut River Museum for a fun and educational kids’ program!

A new program just for kids 4+ and their caregivers, River Tales will include a story, a craft, and an opportunity to visit the Museum. In October, we’ll read Crowbar: The Smartest Bird in the World. After story time, kids will take part in an activity related to the book and try to complete a mini-scavenger hunt in the museum.

Reservations are recommended. Museum Members receive a discount. All River Tales reservations include admission for one adult. Children MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian during this event.
