Pratt and Post Cove Paddle

Connecticut River Museum staff will lead a guided paddle in Deep River’s Pratt and Post Coves. Bring your own canoe or kayak and explore this rare freshwater tidal marsh, recognized for its exceptional environmental importance. Guides will discuss the natural and cultural history of the Coves and help identify the abundant wildlife that visit or call the coves home.

CRM vessels are not available for rent for this program as all paddle staff is offsite.

The boat launch address is 112 Essex Street, Deep River, CT 06417.  Plan to meet there between 1:30 and 1:45.
