Julia Cavicchi is the Education Director of the Rich Earth Institute. Located in Brattleboro, Vermont, this organization engages in research, education and technological innovation to advance the use of human waste as a resource. Julia runs Rich Earth’s “Urine My Garden” program, science communication, local community engagement, youth education, and the Rich Earth Summit. She is committed to the ongoing journey of exploring how reclaiming our ‘waste’ can fertilize social change. In this fully-virtual talk hosted by the Connecticut River Museum, Julia will explain how “pee-cycling” can help save the Connecticut River while helping our farms and gardens flourish!
