FREE Outdoor Event centered on Indigenous arts, traditions, stories, and language at the Connecticut River Museum.

The Nolumbeka Project, Inc. envisions a Connecticut River Valley where the histories, cultures, and persistence of Northeastern Indigenous Peoples are recognized and celebrated, and where all beings are recognized as sharing a mutual existence in an environment of balance and reciprocity. The Nolumbeka Project, Inc. hosts multiple annual events and educational programs featuring Indigenous presenters sharing their music, art, and cultures.
The Nehantic Native Nation, Elnu Abenaki, Connecticut River Museum, The Nolumbeka Project, and Essex Historical Society all join together to provide this day for our community.
