Swing by the Connecticut River Museum for take-home craft activities that engage kids with the Connecticut River’s stunning wildlife and rich history! Crafts will take place in the Museum’s Boathouse. A program just for kids 4+ and their caregivers, River Tales includes a story and craft activity themed around nature.
Nature is full of changes—and a frog’s life is full of excitement! Follow the life of a frog from egg to tadpole to froglet to adult, exploring all the challenges along the way.
In May we’ll read Frog by Maggie Li, a charmingly illustrated book whose questions for young readers will engage their curiosity and build critical thinking skills as they follow the fascinating life cycle of one frog.
