Earth Day 2021
April 22, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Thursday, April 22, 2021 is Earth Day.
At the Connecticut River Museum, we celebrate Earth Day EVERY DAY. Stop in; the first 50 visitors receive FREE seed packets. (One per group)
While you’re here, be sure to take in our Hands on the Land Exhibit. Funding generously provided by the Rockfall Foundation.
CRM is proud to display the video “Invading the Connecticut River- The Spread of Hydrilla” courtesy of CT Resource Conservation and Development (CT RC&D). Created and written by CT RC&D staff, Jeanne Davies and filmed by Emily DeLuca of Crosscourt Media.
These invaders cling to propellers or bottoms of boats or even your shoes. They are not natural to the river and can spread to other rivers and lakes. These invasive plant species threaten to take over the Connecticut River’s coves and tributaries.
