Tami Christopher Joins CRM

Please join us in welcoming Tami Christopher, Director of Education, to the Connecticut River Museum.

Tami Christopher began her career instilling the love of learning in students of all ages through her work in museum educational programming with institutions including the Maine State Museum, Osher Map Library, and Connecticut Historical Society. She also served as the Director of the Meriden Center for Middlesex Community College where she developed collaborative educational programming with numerous K12 districts and community based organizations.

Ms. Christopher holds a Doctor of Education Leadership from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education, an MS in Education from the University of Bridgeport, and an MA in American and New England Studies from the University of Southern Maine. Her publications include Defining Memory: local museums and the construction of history in America’s changing communities.

Ms. Christopher lives in Meriden with her son, daughter, 2 dogs and 10 chickens.
