Pre-School Programs
The Connecticut River Museum is excited to introduce our newest children’s program, Little STEAMers. Open to children between three and five years of age, accompanied by a caregiver or adult, Little STEAMers offers children early exposure to the themes in STEAM-based education: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. The program is designed to allow children to explore, question, research, discover, and exercise innovative building skills. STEAM encourages creativity and curiosity, teaches problem recognition, and facilitates solutions. STEAM also promotes peer interaction through various avenues of learning.

Little STEAMers runs once weekly for four consecutive weeks. Each week, an informative discussion followed by a hands-on activity will keep the children engaged while encouraging their inherent desire to effectively problem solve across the disciplines.
