Bony but delicious, American Shad have traditionally been the focus of one of the largest fisheries on the Connecticut River, with a history extending back to the Native Americans. Fishing gear, fine art, an Earl Brockway skiff and other items related to Shad are on display for all interested in learning about this important fish that helped shape our region.
