The number allowed on the lawn is dictated by CT State regulations. Thank you for your understanding during these uncommon times. \nNow in its 11th year\, Thursday’s on the Dock continues to rock the River! Each Thursday night in the summer\, the foot of Main Street in Essex is the place to be from 5:30 –7:30 pm. We have a fabulous lineup this year thanks to our presenting sponsor\, Prive Swiss Wellness. \nThe Meadows Brothers music exists in the spaces between a rock&roll band that writes folk songs and a folk band that writes rock&roll songs; with a heavy helping of harmony\, a taste of groove\, a bit of the blues and a dash of twang for good measure. They sing songs of hope\, songs of love\, songs of despair\, and songs of good times.\nIan and Dustin Meadows have been playing music together for a good portion (the majority) of the 23 years they’ve known each other. Drawing from a varied list of influences; their sound and songs have taken shape over countless late night jams and writing sessions in their childhood bedroom\, and hundreds of shows all over the country. \nIan and Dustin also perform as The Meadows Brothers Band with their friends Tim Leffingwell on bass\, and Steve Cusano on drums. \nFrom July 16 through September 10\, guests can listen to music\, get a FREE massage\, taste a new beverage\, and take in our gorgeous waterfront views. These events are free\, although we do pass a hat to enable us to continue the tradition. \nBeer and wine are available for purchase. Porky Pete’s BBQ is onsite with options for your dinner or snacks. \nPlease no BYOB.
