SUMMARY:River Tales with Ben Cosgrove
DESCRIPTION:River Tales\nOctober 3\, 2026\n11 a.m. \nBen Cosgrove Performance at 1 p.m.  \nOn October 3rd\, join the Connecticut River Museum’s artist-in-residence Ben Cosgrove for a one-time\, special River Tales session! The book follows Oscar as he experiences many opportunities to leard about sounds both loud and soft and near and far. Following the story\, Ben will walk the children through making a sound map of the space around them. \nAfterwards\, gather on the third floor for a performance by Ben at 1 p.m.\, where he will perform some of his own compositions\, all inspired by the soundscapes of the places he’s visited. The concert is included with purchase of Museum Admission. \n
